PRICE, Utah - The College of Eastern Utah did something is has never done. The Golden Eagles of Price defeated the College of Southern Idaho 25-23, 16-25, 27-25, 15-25, 15-13 Friday in SWAC play.
CSI, which dominated CEU in three at home earlier in the season, came out flat and never found a way to raise the intensity.
Even with the loss, the Golden Eagles outhit CEU, outblocked CEU and outserved CEU.
The loss knocks CSI out of any chance for a share of the Scenic West Athletic Conference title.
The Golden Eagles play at CNCC Saturday.
