CSI beats #5 SLCC in five games in Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY - The 2nd-ranked Golden Eagles outlasted 5th-ranked Salt Lake 25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 22-25, 15-7 Friday.
Middle blocker Torrey Hulsey was key in CSI's victory. She ended the match with 11 kills and eight blocks.
Defensively Britani Hathorn kept the Golden Eagles in the match, finishing with a match-high 22 digs.
CSI, which moved to 20-3 on the season and 3-1 in SWAC play, travels to Snow College Saturday for a 3 p.m. match.
