Kelton Caldwell joined the College of Southern Idaho in the summer of 2026.
Caldwell brings more than a decade of playing and coaching experience to Head Coach Boomer Walker's staff, from both the collegiate and professional levels. The Salt Lake City native, hailed from Jordan High School in Sandy where he excelled on the field propelling him to a four year collegiate career at Brigham Young University from 2010-2014. Following his collegiate career, Caldwell played professionally overseas in Australia as a member of the Brisbane Bandits. Caldwell shifted to the coaching side following his professional stint, beginning his career at Juan Diego Catholic School before moving up to the college coaching ranks. Starting in 2020, Caldwell spent a two year stint at SWAC foe Salt Lake Community College, a two year stint at Point University, and most recently spent a two year stint at Keiser University in Florida before joining the Golden Eagles. Caldwell also has years of coaching experience in Collegiate Summer Leagues, including several years in the highly touted Northwoods League with the Wausau Woodchucks, earning Northwoods League Coach of the Year in 2024. Caldwell also spent the 2023 summer as the Head Coach of the Michigan Monarchs of the Great Lakes League.
