Southern Idaho Golden Eagles

Kaleb Jones enters his first year as Interim Sports Information Director at the College of Southern Idaho in August 2026, returning to the Golden Eagles after previously serving as the department's Sports Information Intern for two and a half years. 
A native of Twin Falls, Idaho, Jones is a graduate of Twin Falls High School and began his collegiate baseball career at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon. While at Treasure Valley, he earned an Associate's degree before transferring to Concordia University in Portland, where he continued his baseball and academic career, graduating in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management. 
Following graduation, Jones gained valuable experience in athletic communications and sports broadcasting with the Portland Pickles Baseball Club of the West Coast League. During his time there, he contributed to game management operations, published the club's weekly newsletter, provided color commentary on live broadcasts, and assisted with camera operations. He later spent a year on the broadcast team at Portland State University as a camera operator.
Jones joined the College of Southern Idaho Athletic Department as a Sports Information Intern in August of 2022, where he spent two and a half years assisting with athletic communications, game operations, statistics, website management, social media, and live event coverage. In February of 2025, he accepted the Sports Information Director position at Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas, before returning to CSI as Interim Sports Information Director in August of 2026.
In his role at CSI, Jones oversees athletic communications, including media relations, statistics, website content, social media, and game-day coverage for the Golden Eagles' athletic programs.
