CEDAR CITY, Utah - Both CSI Rodeo teams kicked off their Fall Rodeo season over the past weekend, with the first of their five fall rodeos at the Southern Utah Rodeo in Cedar City, Utah. The Men placed second, while the Women placed eighth. 
The Men scored 595 total points, trailing only Utah Valley Univeristy at 680 points. Trey Smith and Oran Davis accounted for a large portion of those points as they finished fifth and sixth respectively in Men's All-around. Stoan Morrison scored 160 points in Saddle Bronc Riding, good for second place, while Britt Wells accounted for 115 points in Bareback Riding. Wells and Smith also accounted for 95 points in the Team Roping event.
On the Women's side, Lexi Johnson scored all 50 of the teams points in the Breakaway Roping event where she placed sixth. 
The Golden Eagles will next compete in the Idaho State University Rodeo in Pocatello, Idaho, beginning on Friday, September 18th.
