TWIN FALLS, Idaho - In just its second season of existence, the College of Southern Idaho Men's Soccer Program has five players moving on to play at the next level.
Mario Granjo (Briar Cliff University),
Marvin Jaeger (Grace College),
Caique Maia (Bethel University),
Edwin Anguiano (Eastern Oregon) and
Edward Hill (Fort Hayes State) will all be playing soccer next fall at new schools.
Granjo, a sophomore from Port de Sagunt, Spain, was a center midfielder for the Golden Eagles. He started in 12 of CSI's 15 games, finishing with one goal and two assists. Briar Cliff University competes in the Great Plains Athletic Conference of NAIA.
A 6-2 defender for CSI from Igrejinha, Brazil, Jaeger was a two-year captain for the Golden Eagles. He finished the season with two goals. He was also selected to the Region 18 second team. Grace is a NAIA school that also competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association, where the Lancers played in the NCCAA Championship match last fall.
Maia, a defender from Sao Paulo, Brazil, scored two goals and had one assist in the 2025 season. He was a Region 18 First-Team selection. Bethel Universiy (Tennessee) competes in the MId-South Conference in NAIA. The Wildcats made it to the round of 16 in the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championships.
Anguiano, who came to CSI from Burley, was also a defender for the Golden Eagles. The sophomore had one assist on the season. He will be playing in the Cascade Conference of NAIA. The Mountaineers qualified in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament, posting a 13-0-6 overall record.
Edward Hill will play at Fort Hayes State with three years of eligibility left. The striker from Brisbane, Australia, led the Golden Eagles with six goals. Hill made the Region 18 Third Team. Fort Hayes is a NCAA Division 2 school that competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. The Tigers were the MIAA regular season and tournament champions and the NCAA Super Region 3 Champions, making it all the way to the national semifinal.
CSI finished its 2025 campaign with a 8-8-1 overall record and a 8-5-1 conference record.
