OREM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Cross Country Team had a great opening meet, finishing third at the Utah Valley University Invitational Friday.
The Golden Eagles trailed only Utah Valley and Southern Utah in the three-mile race and beat Snow College and Westminster.
CSI's top runner was
Raivio Manzer, finishing 16th in 14:57.29. Other scorers included
Parker Goggins (23rd in 15:16.92),
Jack Davidson (29th in 15:25.71),
Tucker Scott (31st in 15:27.62) and
Finn Rutledge (32nd in 15:28.51).
The Golden Eagles next run in their home meet on Friday, Sept. 5. CSI will host the Dr. Thad Scholes Memorial Invitational at Canyon Springs Golf Course.
