TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Four players from the 2024-25 Scenic West Athletic Conference Champion College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team will take their talents to four-year schools next season.
Kennedy Gillette,
Falon Bedke,
Macie Brown and
Alina Sapilak will all suit up for different teams next fall.
Gillette, a NJCAA All-American, has signed with the University of Montana. The sophomore guard averaged 13.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Golden Eagles. She also shot 81 percent from the free-throw line. Gillette was a Region 18 First-Team selection as well.
Bedke will be playing for the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. The post averaged 3.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and .5 blocks per game and was a force inside defensively all season.
Macie Brown, a freshman, will be going back to her hometown and will have three years to compete for Utah State University. The freshman forward averaged 4.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. She also added 1.0 assists per game.
The final Golden Eagle moving on is
Alina Sapilak. The sophomore guard will play for Valdosta State. Sapilak, who was a spark plug for the Golden Eagles, averaged 5.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 assists per game.
CSI finished the season with a 23-8 overall record and a 12-3 conference record.
