COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho didn't have an answer for North Idaho College Saturday, falling to the Cardinals 4-1 on a rainy day up north.
The Golden Eagles got the best of North Idaho at home earlier this season but North Idaho got revenge in the Scenic West Athletic Conference battle.
North Idaho led 2-0 in the first half before CSI pulled within one at the 39:16 mark on a goal by
Okito Rwankuba. That would be all the Golden Eagles would score and the Cardinals tacked on two more scores in the second half to pull away.
Goalkeeper
Robert Foster finished the match with seven saves.
CSI, 7-5-1 overall and 7-2-1 in conference play, is one point behind league-leading Salt Lake in the standings. The Golden Eagles host Colorado Northwestern Thursday and Salt Lake CC Saturday for their final regular season home games.
