TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Jayva Hicks is the first signee for the inaugural year of the College of Southern Idaho Soccer Program.
Hicks, who helped Canyon Ridge High School to a conference championship in 2022 and a runner-up finish in 2023, will graduate from Xavier Charter School in May.
"Jayva is a goal scorer that runs the channels in open play and finishes with both feet as well as set pieces," said CSI Head Coach Alex Ferreira. "She is also adept at connecting with teammates entering into the final third. She will be a great addition to the CSI community and the team."
Hicks was an all-conference selection in 2022 and 2023 and led her high school team with 26 goals this year as the striker position. Outside of school ball, Hicks plays for the Magic Valley Surf club team.
"I am very excited for the opportunity I have gotten to start on this new adventure," Hicks said. "I couldn't have done it without all my support."
