Seven CSI Basketball Players earn Region 18 honors

PRICE, Utah - CSI women's basketball players Laurel Kearsley and Daidra Brown and Golden Eagle men's basketball player Carrick Felix all earned Region 18 first-team honors for the 2009-2010 season.
Kearsley averaged 10.6 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Golden Eagles while Brown averaged 13.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 5.07 steals per game.
Felix led CSI to an 19-11 record. The red-shirt freshman averaged 14.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
Also recognized were Shauneice Samms (2nd team) and Maddy Plunkett (Honorable Mention). Samms was the 2008-09 Region 18 Player of the Year and Plunkett was the 2007-08 Region 18 Player of the Year.
On the men's side, Charles Odum earned second-team honors and Byago Diouf was named to the honorable mention Region 18 team.
