TWIN FALLS, Idaho - College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Head Coach Heidi Cartisser earned American Volleyball Coaches Association West Region Coach of the Year.
Cartisser, who has led the Golden Eagles to three NJCAA National Championships and a runner-up finish at this year's national championships.
She posted a 31-4 overall record this season, leading the nation in total home attendance. The Golden Eagles finished third in the country in team kills per set (13.28) and assists per set (11.97). This is her third AVCA Region Coach of the Year award. Cartisser also was honored in 2009, 2012 and 2017.
