TWIN FALLS - Freshman guard
Jake Hendricks was tough to stop Thursday at USU Eastern and Saturday against Salt Lake CC. Not only did he lead the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team to two victories, he was named Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his play.
Hendricks made 7-of-11 3-pointers in Price, Utah as well as two shorter field goals for 25 points and three rebounds. His play Saturday against Salt Lake was even more impressive. With CSI trailing and just over a minute to play, Hendricks scored seven of the Golden Eagles final nine points to lead the comeback and earn the win.
He finished the game against the Bruins with 27 points, including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc and 9-of-9 from the free-throw line. He added five rebounds and a steal.
