TWIN FALLS - The NJCAA defending national championship College of Southern Idaho volleyball team has signed 10 new players, three returners and is welcoming two walk-ons for the 2013 season.
CSI head coach
Heidi Cartisser plans to add one more international player.
Joining the Golden Eagles from Idaho will be
Jaidyn Blanchfield of Boise and walk-on
Jasmine Branch from Jerome.
Blanchfield is a 5-11 middle blocker/right side hitter. Branch, a 5-10 middle blocker, played for Jerome High School.
Other newcomers include
Pati Anae, a middle blocker/outside hitter from Laie, Hawaii;
Jordan Burgon, a middle blocker/right side from Sandy, Utah;
Puamana Danielson, a setter from Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Alejandra Isiordia, an outside hitter from Nayarit, Mexico;
Lepeka Kalulu-Sugai, an outside hitter from Haleiwa, Hawaii;
Stephanie Perez, a middle blocker from Bella Alta, Puerto Rico;
Natasa Savovic, an outside hitter from Belgrade, Serbia;
Jamie Selleneit, a setter from Kaysville, Utah,
Jessi Seumalo, a middle blocker from Corvalis, Ore. and walk-on
Heather Getman, a libero from St. James City, Florida.
This recruiting class with join returners Alex Johnson,
Braiden Johnston and
Alyssa Povey.

Heidi Cartisser. "The expectations are always high at CSI and I think this group is capable of attaining those and surpassing it."
