TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team built an early lead and then just built upon it, defeating Westchester College 103-75 to open the Gordon Paving/Mountain West Components Invitational Thursday.
Five Golden Eagle players scored in double digits, led by
Kenny Buckner. Buckner finished the game with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Teammate
Josten Thomas added a double-double, scoring 13 points and pulling down 15 rebounds.
In the other men's game of the tournament, Seward County CC defeated the Pro Look All Stars 119-89.
